There was a time when becoming a Virtual Assistant meant figuring everything out on your own.
You searched YouTube for tutorials, joined countless Facebook groups, watched hours of videos, and pieced together information from different sources. Some lessons were outdated, some were incomplete, and many of the skills clients actually needed weren't being taught.
I know that feeling because I lived it.
As I worked with clients from different industries, I realized that being a successful Virtual Assistant wasn't just about answering emails or managing calendars. Every client introduced me to something new—CRM systems, VoIP platforms, automation, website management, recruiting, AI tools, project management, and countless business processes that I had to learn along the way.
The more I learned, the more I noticed a gap.
Many aspiring VAs were being taught how to find clients, but very few were being taught how to keep them. Clients weren't simply looking for general Virtual Assistants—they wanted problem solvers, people who could learn quickly, adapt to new tools, and confidently support their businesses.
That's why I created VAfinders.
VAfinders isn't just another job board or training website. It's a growing knowledge hub designed to help Virtual Assistants develop practical, real-world skills that businesses actually use every day.
Here, you'll find articles about CRM platforms, automation, AI, website management, VoIP systems, productivity tools, business operations, and many other topics that can help you become a more valuable remote professional.
My goal isn't to teach everything.
My goal is to encourage curiosity.
Technology changes quickly. New software appears every month. The Virtual Assistants who succeed aren't necessarily the ones who know every tool—they're the ones who never stop learning.
If one blog inspires you to explore Zapier, experiment with Shopify, understand Zoho CRM, or build your first automation, then VAfinders has already accomplished its purpose.
This platform is also about community.
I believe knowledge grows when it's shared. Every lesson I publish is something I wish I had known earlier in my own journey, and I hope it shortens the learning curve for someone else.
Whether you're preparing for your first client, exploring a new niche, or expanding your existing skills, remember that every expert started as a beginner.
Keep learning.
Keep experimenting.
Keep asking questions.
And most importantly, never stop investing in yourself.
Welcome to VAfinders.
